Why am I eating healthy but feeling worse

Eating healthy shouldn’t make you feel worse. But sometimes it does. Often, this can be due to a deficiency in essential micronutrients such as vitamin b12, iron, magnesium, and iodine.
The way to fix this is by taking supplements like liquid multivitamins or eating foods rich in these micronutrients.
Going on an elimination diet also helps because the body will absorb the nutrients better if it doesn’t have competing compounds from other foods working against it.

Can Vitamins make me feel better?

Vitamin b12 has some of the most drastic effects. A deficiency in this vitamin can cause anemia, fatigue, poor cognition and memory, loss of balance and coordination, weakness in arms and legs (walking is a challenge), mood disorders such as anxiety and depression, as well as other symptoms that are more neurological/psychological than physical. If you’re low in vitamin b12, I recommend supplementing with methylcobalamin or hydroxycobalamin to raise those levels quickly. Take around 5000mcg/day for at least 6 months to replenish your stores completely.

Foods full of antioxidants are also great for looking after one’s health since they fight off free radicals which cause cancer and heart disease. Free radicals are found in processed foods so eating natural fresh foods does much more for your health than highly

What is a healthy vegetarian diet ?

You may have heard that a vegetarian diet is less healthy than other diets. Many people, including health professionals, believe that the human body needs meat to function optimally. However, this belief is not supported by science. In fact, most national health organizations recommend a healthy vegetarian diet for individuals at every stage of life and for all stages of the life cycle — from infancy to old age.

Many studies show that vegetarians have lower rates of obesity, heart disease, some types of cancer and diabetes than non-vegetarians

(1). Vegetarian diets are also known to promote energy efficiency because they provide more dietary fiber and less saturated fat compared with non-vegetarian diets

(2). Nutrient deficiencies are generally uncommon in healthy vegetarian diets

(3). Healthy vegetarian adults usually meet nutrient needs by paying attention to what they eat. A registered dietitian can help with meal planning if you have trouble making sure that your diet is balanced.

Dietary supplements may be useful for some nutrients, but they’re not needed unless certain dietary restrictions make it difficult to get enough nutrients from food alone.

Healthy couple

Children and adolescents who follow a vegetarian diet need the same nutrients as other children of the same age. Vegetarian-specific growth charts are now available in addition to conventional ones, so your child’s doctor can compare her or his height and weight against appropriate benchmarks

Why am I constpiated after eating healthy?

One of the most common symptoms for people on Paleo or Raw Vegan diets is constipation. In fact, it’s almost a rite of passage. But why? Is this just your body adjusting to remove toxins from your digestive system? The answer is no, and here’s why:

When you eat cereal grains (which act like opiates in your body) they produce a compound called Triptophan. This gets converted into Serotonin and then Melatonin. When you don’t have enough tryptophan, serotonin or melatonin (all of which cause constipation) it can take many years for you to get regular bowel movements again!

Did you know Opiates make up 10% of your blood and 90% of your brain? This means that you are truly addicted! If your body doesn’t get it’s daily dose, you can have a sense of pain in the lower abdomen (such as with Irritable Bowel Syndrome or IBS), and regular bowel movements become difficult to achieve. This is called Die-off.

So, why am I constipated after eating healthy foods like raw fruits & veggies and meat? Because my body wasn’t designed to digest grains! That’s right: I’m talking simple carbohydrates here – breads – crackers – pasta – cakes – etc. The body was not made to break down these complex polymers into sugars.

why does bloating occur after eating a meal?

bloating is quite common in over weight individuals and is often associated with constipation, flatulence (gas), abdominal discomfort and pain. occasionally bloating can occur in normal weight people as well, but this often represents the beginning of some other digestive disorder. Bloating usually occurs after meals containing complex starches such as rice or pasta, however it can also be caused by citrus fruits, carbonated drinks or excessive protein consumption. Bloating is caused by an increase in the volume of gas in the bowel lumen or cavity that stretches out the intestines, thereby causing cramping and pain. The gases had been produced during digestion but do not exit via the rectum like feces does; instead remain within the bowel.

what is the cause of bloating?

gas in the intestine may come from two sources: bacteria or swallowed air. swallowed air accounts for minor gas build-up compared to bacteria; therefore, it can be temporarily relieved by drinking fluids containing magnesium citrate and taking a few deep breaths. The production of gas occurs when food is: poorly chewed or incompletely hydrolyzed; digested too rapidly because of specific food components (carbohydrates, protein, fats enzymes); redigested due to impaired motility; trapped within an area(s) where there is poor movement (due to mechanical obstruction(s) secondary to hernia(s), adhesions, scarring); excessively fermented due to excessive bacteria in the colon.

why does bloating occur after eating rice and pasta?

starchy foods are broken down into a sugar called maltose, which is absorbed very quickly when starch hydrolysis occurs rapidly in the small intestine. Maltose is then further converted to glucose by the action of salivary amylase (an enzyme) that comes from your mouth and stomach enzymes. Since it enters the blood stream rapidly, high levels of blood sugar can cause discomfort (bloating), constipation and diarrhea. When undigested food particles move through the intestines too rapidly, they may reach other parts of the digestive tract before being digested, thereby causing pain or obstruction (gas). Undigested food fragments attract
